Adulting 101: Life Changes in First Apartment
Share
Hello from the other side (of my website)! My name is Lexi & if you know me, I’m jumping around at raves, traveling to festivals, trying to spread a positivity vibe online, and a HUGE extrovert. To the people who don’t know me or is coming across this, hi! My name is Lexi! I am in my thirties (31 in December) I am a New Yorker, a senior graphic designer, and run HDBNGR RVWR. (Which is my baby)
You may be asking, where am I going with this? Don’t worry, I’ll tell you!
I’ve been wanting to write to run my own blog and wanted to share a big life change. I MOVED OUT! Yes, at 30 years old, I moved out. Now, you may be wondering why it took me so long or why now?
As hard as it was being the first in my home to move, it was time. Moving out doesn’t necessarily mean bad blood, but it’s okay to move on. As uncomfortable and scary as it is, it has been something that has brought me so much joy, and has filled me with gratitude. I want to tell you, just because people move out at 18, doesn’t mean you have to feel self conscious. LIfe’s journey is different for everyone. Also, it’s never too late for you. Whether getting an apartment, going for your drivers license, or even traveling for the first time. YOU taking INITIATIVE is the IMPORTANT PART. SAY THAT AGAIN! We are all welcome!
