Lost Lands: Let's Talk Sets, Side Quests & Highlights of the Festival

The ninth year of Lost Lands was last weekend, and there's a lot to talk about. From rain and mud to sets we can't stop thinking about, here are the moments that stuck with us.

Lost Lands 2026: Rain, Mud & Ravers

The rain came down hard this year, leaving muddy stretches around the festival grounds and making the trip back to some cars a challenge.

Through it all, the festival kept going. Shoutout to Excision Presents and the team members helping people through a difficult weekend. But alas, what do ravers do? We endure. Some attendees even turned the mud into a wrestling match. There were various other videos circulating on TikTok and Youtube shorts about parking lot flooding.

Mother Nature vs. Outdoor Festivals

Weekends like this bring up a bigger question: how can outdoor festivals prepare for extreme weather while keeping attendees safe? The music matters, but so does having a plan when Mother Nature shows up uninvited.

The Moments We Can't Stop Talking About

Excision's Gender Reveal

During Excision's Detox set, he invited Emma onstage for a surprise gender reveal. A dinosaur egg burst open in a cloud of pink: it's a GIRL! The HDBNGR RVWR family is sending them so much love.

Leveltronics

Leveltronics brought a filthy, high-intensity set from beginning to end. The siren-song intro was peak sampling, and the heavy drops kept the energy up. Between the music and the meme-filled moments, we were here for it.

Black Rave Babes Collective Meetup At Lost Lands

This meetup gave us the biggest FOMO. As a Black and Latin-owned brand, seeing Black ravers come together at Lost Lands means a lot to us. The festival community is at its best when people can find each other, feel seen, and celebrate together. Much love to Black Rave Babes Collective for bringing that energy to the weekend. Make sure to follow Black Rave Babes Collective on Instagram.

Nimda: The Pit and the Stapler

Content warning: blood and injury. A man had his lip stapled to a table in the pit, and his mouth was covered in blood. Then the pit closed in.

HOLY SH** THAT'S TEAROUT, AND WE LOVE IT. Nimda's pit was one of the wildest moments we witnessed at Lost Lands. And then there was the stapler. We had so many questions. Honestly, we still do. There's a wild overall view posted by Luciu$

AllDat (CRANKDAT B2B ALLEYCVT)

CRANKDAT and ALLEYCVT brought one hell of a set. They blended their styles effortlessly on the mainstage, with bounce and banger after banger. Their B2B felt nostalgic, too (iykyk). The transition from James Brown's “I Feel Good” was beautiful, and when the fireworks hit, we were gone.

More Sets We Loved

We couldn't wrap up our Lost Lands recap without shouting out a few more sets we loved: Slander, Liquid Stranger, Seven Lions, Sullivan King B2B Ray Volpe, Excision B2B Space Laces, Zingara, LAYZ, TYNAN, and Ganja White Night. There was so much to take in across the weekend, and these are the names we're still talking about.

A Note from the HDBNGR RVWR Team

This was our third Couchlands, but our story with Lost Lands goes back to 2018. We remember when the festival had just a couple of stages, and watching it grow into what it is today has been a beautiful journey.

One of the best parts has been sharing that experience with people near and dear to us, and showing them what the Lost Lands community is all about. Even when we’re watching from the couch, that connection is still there. That’s what keeps us coming back.

Keep the festival energy going with more stories from HDBNGR RVWR.
